Attorney at Law
Lynn could see the heartbreak in her grandmother’s eyes as she became wheelchair bound, not being able to hear the beautiful music emanating from the piano, and her own mother’s description of her memories of Lynn’s grandmother as a concert pianist. Her musical and artistic talents were cut short by rheumatoid arthritis. Lynn Moyer knows first hand how this debilitating disease can alter the course of a life.
Many years before she became a lawyer in 1987, Ms. Moyer was volunteering for the Arthritis National Research Foundation, where she has served as a board member, past president and legal counsel (pro bono) for the organization.
“I have had the opportunity to meet giants in the field of arthritis research – including my fellow board member, Dr. Morrie Granger,” says Moyer. “ANRF provides the means for young doctors to pursue cutting-edge projects that may produce the next breakthrough for arthritis victims. I can only believe that my own Grandmother “Edith” would smile at the attention being given by young scientists to this debilitating disease and the progress being made to eradicate it.”
Ms. Moyer specializes in hospital and medical malpractice, church canon and polity law, contract disputes and general civil litigation. She opened her private law practice in 2000, after working as a partner in two separate international law firms.
