Individuals and corporate sponsors turned out to support the Arthritis
National Research Foundation's annual golf classic on July 23, 2001.
This year's title sponsor, Meyer Pharmaceuticals of Irvine, and
the combined generosity of over 150 golfers and guests raised nearly
$35,000 to support arthritis research.
SeaCliff Country Club in Huntington Beach was the site of this
event, attended by supporters from Long Beach and the Los Angeles
and Orange County environs.
The Arthritis National Research Foundation (ANRF) is committed

to help improve the quality of life for arthritis sufferers. The
eight young, post-doctoral investigators who received ANRF grants
totaling $350,000 this year are conducting research at the University
of California, San Diego, Stanford University, Brigham and Women's
Hospital in Boston, Harvard University Medical School, McGuire VA
Medical Center in Richmond, University of Pittsburgh Medical School.
